Technical Account Manager
LOCATION: Paris, France
PACKAGE: €140,000.00 – €160,000.00, with bonus

My client is an industry leader in software-defined storage at petabyte-scale. My client has deployed software-based storage solutions that deliver billions of files to more than two hundred million users daily with 100% availability. My client’s customers include four top ten cable operators in the US, the second largest Telco in France, leading operators in Japan and the second largest online video site in the world.
Key Experience Required:
- BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 8+ years’ experience in Enterprise technical account management, infrastructure solutions architecture and/or sales engineering
- In depth hands on UNIX/Linux system administration skills and experience in managing large scale distributed environments (minimum of 5 years)
- Knowledge of High Availability environment (distributed system, load balancing, cloud platforms)
- Significant understanding of hardware, specially x86 platforms, including RAID architecture and file systems
- Experience on storage environment (NAS, SAN, RAID, distributed file system, object storage, Restful API, Amazon S3)
- Knowledge with Web Servers, Backups, Email, Package Management, Monitoring in a large-scale production environment
- Scripting skills (Python, Perl, Shell) is a plus
- A track record in constantly enhancing technical and business skills, along with discovering new markets and use cases
- Ability to present complex solutions in a business-oriented approach
- Identify and qualify new opportunities within his strategic accounts
- Ability to create and maintain trusted relationships with customer as well as internal teams
- Outstanding team spirit and customer orientation
- Project management experience along with customer relationship management to lead and deliver solution
- Ability to create high-quality technical and business documentation, including complex Statements of Work or executive reports
- Work closely with Product management and Architecture teams to propose and develop strategy to answer customer requirements and to improve my client’s technologies
Role Information:
- Lead post sales technical support for assigned strategic accounts and oversee all customer related technical relationships
- Provide full support to sales and pre-sales engineers in those accounts, in helping to detect upsell opportunities
- Understand and articulate architecture driven solutions and value
- Present my clients product during the sales process, ensuring its promotion in both technical and business terms (incl. ROI case studies), as well as the proper architecture and configuration consulting in the context of a given deal. My client’s sales motion is a ‘solution’ and ‘consultative’ one, where we take pride of understanding the workflow of our customers and recommending the best storage architecture to respond to their needs
