JOB TITLE: Account Manager



LOCATION: Birmingham, UK



PACKAGE: £50,000.00-£60,000.00, with £120,000.00 OTE. Car allowance, 23 days holiday which will increase to 25 after 2 years and pension.

My client creates, implements and maintains the best ICT for the global construction, civil engineering and installation industry. They provide the global construction industry with software that gives their businesses ‘control on their projects’.



Key Experience Required:




  • Have 3+ year of experience in a similar role, making this a logical 2nd or 3rd step in your career

  • Excellent communication skills, which enables you to interact effectively at different levels

  • Functional, ICT and managerial levels

  • Experience in managing accounts

  • Have knowledge of infrastructure

  • Previous technology that you must have sold is FM and ERP software

  • Experience in ERP and affinity with ICT

  • To drive to get to know the construction industry better



Role Information:




  • You will be acting as the trusted advisor for my client’s customers

  • You will see commercial opportunities and will be able to tap into unexpressed needs. Happy customers are the core of our business and you will be building relations based on trust and enthusiasm for our products

  • You will give good an honest advice based on your up to date knowledge of the customer’s processes, developments in the market and products

  • You are able to distinguish trends from hypes and you are naturally able to bring together different parties

  • With the information gathered from the customer, you know how to represent their interests in the internal organisation

  • You win the support of colleagues which allows you to serve your customer with a good team

  • You regularly meet with the customer team, consisting of support account manager and the lead consultant, in which you play a leading role
