They created a powerful piece of software available anywhere at any time. They wanted to free people from hardware failures, also help them save money and the environment. My client believes it is a new era for computers, and soon for smartphones, tablets, VR headsets and much more.
Key Experience Required:
- 10+ years of demonstrated Consumer Marketing experience and Brand Planning/Brand Marketing proficiency, with responsibilities to include knowledge of Brand Design, Digital, Social and Retail and Event Production
- Proven track record in creating innovative and targeted brand campaigns and programs that generate results
- Solid track record for generating successful corporate campaigns across all channels
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated record of delivering effective brand and marketing strategies resulting in increased awareness, preference, conversion, and loyalty
- Strong strategic business analytical skills

Role Information:
- Define priorities and orchestrate work streams to ensure efficiency across all initiatives and drive brand plans, business plans and initiatives — all plans should be grounded in the impact we expect to make to company metrics and the expected ROI.
- Develop, support and build a world-class marketing team by investing in and hiring (4-5) people, and supporting them with the resources and infrastructure to scale.
- Infuse data-driven decision making into all aspects of our consumer and brand functions.
- Drive overall brand strategy for Shadow with ownership of our brand platform, brand architecture, messaging/positioning frameworks, and voice and tone
- Ensure consistency of brand identity, messaging, and visual expressions across corporate, product, partner, and customer communications
- Drive overall events experience for all industry trade shows and conferences
- Collaborate with PR, AR, social media, creative, content marketing, product marketing, demand generation, and customer marketing to drive key campaigns and define metrics to track progress
- Own and drive our brand architecture, messaging, and line extensions.
- Drive Shadow’s product launch strategy, activating across all channels including site, email, social, IRL, influencers, press, et cetera.
- Build and own Shadow’s annual marketing calendar of brand campaigns to drive awareness, acquisition, and engagement and coordinate all cross-functional teams to drive toward common editorial themes and all activation touch points for the year.
- Drive and activate all marketing partnerships across all touch points, including email, site, social, and press.
- Craft executive speaker content and prepare executives for Shadow branded events, such as company all-hands, meet ups, industry events, etc
- Must have an extensive working knowledge of, and passion for, the gaming industry and gaming culture
