Community Manager - Hardware and gaming start-up
LOCATION: Palo Alto, CA
PACKAGE: up to $90,000.00 and medical insurance provided
Company Information:
My client designed a piece of software where the hardware constraints were removed allowing their clients hardware to be minimal, but still getting greater autonomy and massive computing power. They created a powerful piece of software available anywhere at any time. They wanted to free people from hardware failures, also help them save money and the environment. My client believes it is a new era for computers, and soon for smartphones, tablets, VR headsets and much more.
Key Experience Required:
- A prior experience in community management and event organization will be needed
- Speaks English at an idiomatic level
- Ability to interact directly with customers
- Knowledge of the gaming market is a plus
- Good knowledge of the Bay area gaming community and venues
- Good writing skills
Role Information:
- Prepare our beta launch event in California to quickly grow our beta user’s community
- Closely interact with our initial users and ambassadors, both offline and online
- Create local content aligned with our brand values and our global strategy for our US communities including, but not limited to, content for our Twitter account, Facebook page, newsletter, and other appropriate social networks.
- Scoot and identify social media marketing opportunities and, in some cases, implement them
- Analyse metrics related to your actions, assess your content performance and adapt to the best performing strategies in customer relationships and in sales
