JOB TITLE: Channel Account Manager
LOCATION: Cologne, DusselDorf or Hamburg - Remote
PACKAGE: €54,400.00 + €26,600.00 Variable - €80,000.00 OTE, Audi Company Car, Healthcare and Pension

Key Experience Required:
- Sales-oriented employee with experience in dealing with decision-makers, project managers and IT managers at corporate customers as support for my client’s sales team
- Experience in the IT-Channel is a prerequisite
- Sociable with fun dealing with people. Organisation, structured thinking, independent work, teamwork and friends on the phone (outbound calls) are among your strengths. Good manners, quick comprehension, and resilience complete your profile
- High self-motivation coupled with discipline and strong communication skills inside and outside. Good IT industry knowledge and knowledge of SAN / NAS, data and storage systems, as well as IT & infrastructure are beneficial
- Completed technical or commercial education in the IT industry
- Very good knowledge of the following programs: o MS Office package (especially Excel and PowerPoint) o Database / CRM systems (knowledge of SalesForce is an advantage)
- Very good German language skills, with a good knowledge of English (written and oral)

Role Information:
- Responsibility for the identification and qualification of potential end customers and resellers in the assigned area or vertical market
- Independent meetings with identified potential end customers and resellers
- Close cooperation with the Regional Sales Managers, especially after identifying a project
- Follow up on a project to make sure that the reseller fulfils its tasks
- Assisting the reseller in the completion of the project by providing the necessary information when needed, especially with regard to offers and marketing materials and in collaboration with the regional manager
- Carrying out so-called “cold calls” for the purpose of acquiring new customers
- Use of modern means of communication to validate a potential end customer and to arrange meetings identified potential end users
- Analyse the area or vertical market and identify other ways and means to attract potential end customers
- Achieving the specified sales goals and meeting the reporting requirements
- Participation in trade fairs and marketing events
