JOB TITLE: Sales Development Representative  



LOCATION: Hammersmith London, United Kingdom



PACKAGE: £35,000.00 - £40,000.00 Base, plus £15,000.00 bonus + stock options



 



Company Information:



My client are the experts in location and mobile technology. They have gained great traction in enabling domestic and business customers to track engineers to their door (Uber/ DPD Style). This has a direct impact on customer satisfaction scores, increases productivity by reducing first time across abort rates and reduces incoming anxiety calls that clog up contact centres. For example, my client is the tech behind the recent British Gas TV and radio campaign, that enables customers to track their driver as seen on the campaign. This then resulted in British Gas seeing a 20% reduction in missed appointments and significant increase in customer experience through deploying my client.



Key Experience Required:




  • Proven track record achieving measurable inside sales success, with 1-3 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in tech/SaaS

  • Previous use of Hubspot (or similar CRM) in context of this role

  • A good understanding of software buying processes (persona targeting etc)

  • Ability to write effective emails that solicit positive response

  • Good interpersonal skills, and a positive and energetic telephone manner

  • Intelligent and able to steer conversations

  • Excellent listening and writing skills

  • Confident grasp of google documents and sheets (Word or Excel)

  • You are a motivated individual with a growth mindset looking to develop your career in software sales

  • A self-starter with proven ability in your current position to generate and establish credible enterprise and negotiator and have a desire to address pain

  • You are a keen influencer and negotiator and have a desire to address pain points and transform organisations through the products you sell

  • Intelligence, a naturally curious mind, tenacity, and a love for learning and a knack for being quick on your feet

  • Your engaging communication skills will help you connect with customers, pitch my client’s value, and grow the sales pipeline with qualified leads

  • You are not afraid to make mistakes and learn

Role Information:




  • Help my client bring the most advanced ‘last mile’ SaaS solution to assigned markets

  • Initiate outbound communications via the telephone and email to pre-qualified prospects. Educate, identify early stage opportunities, and schedule deep dive discovery calls for the sales Directors

  • Manage inbound customer prospect inquiries and follow up on marketing campaigns and events with the goal of souring qualified opportunities

  • Research target companies online to pre-qualify as sales opportunities

  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections, through deep proposition knowledge

  • Engage with a high volume of leads in the CRM to maintain awareness and ‘front of mind’ positioning

  • Utilise sales tools to profile and gather sales opportunity intelligence

  • Understand the buyer process and use marketing assets to engage prospects

  • Be part of an environment with inspiring and ambitious colleagues

  • Consistently achieve quota to ensure territory revenue goals are achieved
